In the fall of 2022, before the Fierce Ladies Coll

In the fall of 2022, before the Fierce Ladies Collective even existed, I was deep in the whirlwind of launching my book, Stop Talking About the Weather. In just eight weeks, I hosted 18 book launch events all over Cincinnati. But one event in particular changed everything—my collaboration with @madtreebrewing.

When I first reached out to @rhoeweler and her events team to pitch a book event, they responded with something that completely floored me: “You know, let us do you one better. How about you speak at our Ascending Women event?”

That night, I stepped onto a real stage for the first time. I met and connected with @racheldesrochers of @powertopursue (and @thegratitudecollective). And without even realizing it in the moment—that experience shifted the entire trajectory of my life.

Now, nearly 2.5 years later, I have the incredible opportunity to work alongside Rhi (of MadTree) and Rachel (of Power to Pursue) again, along with Kelli (of @kelli.in.cincy), to help plan and bring to life the February Ascending Women event: Ladies Who Lead.

This event means EVERYTHING to me because it’s not just about leadership—it’s about helping women find their power, their communities, and their place. You don’t need a title like leader or founder to make an impact. You ARE a leader simply by showing up, by connecting, by stepping into your strengths.

I’m beyond honored to be a panelist for this event, but more than anything, I can’t wait to pour into the women in that room—to help them see that leadership isn’t just reserved for a few, it’s for all of us.

On Saturday, February 22nd, we’re heading to Full Throttle Adrenaline Park for an unforgettable day of fun. Here’s what you can expect:

3 high-speed karting races to challenge your need for speed
30 minutes of axe-throwing to blow off steam
If you’re feeling extra daring, optional activities like paintball and the rage room will keep the excitement going after the main event.
